Clifton Park Dental offers the dental service of tooth extraction when a tooth has been irreparably damaged from decay or infection. Very often, these scenarios of deep decay or infection cause a patient to have significant pain and require immediate attention. At Clifton Park Dental, our dentists make it a priority to see patients in pain quickly and decide whether or not the painful tooth can be restored. If the dentist and patient feel that the tooth cannot be saved and the best treatment is extraction, then the dentist will either take the tooth out or refer the patient to an oral surgeon for this procedure.
